Asia markets traded mixed on Tuesday, with the Japanese benchmark index leading gains in early trade, ahead of Chinese inflation data due later on Tuesday. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 added 0.38 percent.
US equities struggled on Monday amid a stronger USD and another sell off in commodities. The DJIA lost 0.20%, the S&P 500 added 0.08% and the NASDAQ put on 0.30%.
In Europe, stock markets were buoyed by a 10-month high in German industrial orders. The DAX gained 1.12%, the CAC 40 put on 0.50% and in the UK the FTSE 100 gave up 0.18%.
